Andie's legs are always fully shifted with the fur starting from their upper thighs and ending in peets instead of feet.
Their hands are usually in 'hand' form over 'paw' form for practicality, but they shift between these states with ease. The all black colouration of their hands and arms while unshifted fades out at the top of their biceps, which is where their fur extends to when their paws are shifted.
While partially shifted is their default, fully shifted is their natural state; their hands will often unintentionally revert to paws when relaxed or overwhelmed.Their fur coat changes with the seasons and environment, with sleek fur in Summer, and a fluffy mane in Winter.They're well built and muscular - despite their small size, their strength is both beastly and deadly."Let's play! Personality & BehaviourYou can't assign human emotion or morals to a beast - nor can you truly domesticate what is feral. A beast can learn to pretend, but ultimately, some fundamental things cannot be changed. That is to say, this is a typical cat - morally grey, somewhat chaotic evil, and dances to their own tune. Hilariously food motivated.To strangers and associates, they're polite and cordial, a professional yet aloof façade built from working with the family business and in their personal endeavours. Highly educated and well spoken, they're quite aware of how they come across; the elegant yet excitable Young Master of the Nyafuku's.To friends and family, they're very physically affectionate, openly lavishing those they care about with love and attention. They will do anything for those they consider their pack, but that's an elusive position to acquire. Despite being earnestly friendly and eager to make connections, the true path to their heart is heavily guarded, and selective. Trauma is not so easily overcome.On occasion, they may misunderstand things if someone is not direct enough. Having a stronger affinity with non-verbal communication, conversational nuances are sometimes trickier for them to understand. "They're nothing more than a beast masquerading as a human."BackgroundBorn from an egg, a feral cat taken in by a coeurl pack, then kidnapped adopted from the wilderness into an extremely wealthy Hingan family. 'Domesticated' to a surprising degree of success.They had a few years as an adventurer, but returned to Kugane when their Mama fell ill, choosing to remain close to home while their Mama's health was weakened.Nowadays, they work primarily as an associate luxury artisan with the family business, often travelling to gather materials with their retainers...yet sometimes, the siren song of adventure calls.They adore food and will almost always be snacking on something. A lot of the eating establishments they frequent will have a table, just for them.Due to the circumstances of their early years, they're very connected to nature, going hunting a couple times a week to supplement their voracious appetite and sate their prey drive.At the turn of each season, they will return to the wild to spend time with their coeurl family pack.Overall, one might assume at first that they're just a spoiled pet cat, but there's much more to them...

Perhaps you've heard of this infamous clan, descended from The Great Feline Kami, and possessed of Her Blessing. The Lady's covenant is most atypical... Andie's arrival to the clan was predestined by the Kami Herself."If you have to ask for the price, you can't afford it."
'Merchant', is too paltry a term for this family business; 'Powerhouse' is more apt. Specialising in luxury goods & services, the family did not come out on top in the vicious competition without underground favour. If you want it, you can have it - for a price. They have their claws in just about every dumpling in Kugane."Have you heard? The Cat's gotten themself a new bodyguard."
Appearances are everything. The image of the Nyafuku's is ever eminent, but the Young Master has always been a source of rumours. Why, they're harmless. Look, they even need a bodyguard! No blood on their paws whatsoever."Daresay I wouldn't mind your company."
It's not surprising a wealthy family would also comprise of socialites. Even outside of Kugane, Andie finds themself to invited to numerous events, of all kinds. Though of course, they're most inclined to join those with a banquet table!"It's just a ranch, Gurvel. How much could it cost? 20 million gil?"
Andie's a philanthropist...sort of. Even outside of the family's coffers, the kitty is rolling in a lot of gil. They have a penchant for funding interesting projects that capture their attention, though this is rare. (But if it's a restaurant and the food is actually good, it's almost guaranteed.)

A Most Unusual Feline

"What, never seen a cat before?"
Andie looks like a Miqo'te. Loosely. After the ears, the tail and the typical face markings, the similarities stop there. An easy explanation is that they're perhaps the result of the union between a Miqo'te and a Hrothgar; but if you puzzle too hard, it doesn't add up... If you ask them, well...they're just a good ol' black cat."Oh, don't worry. This isn't my blood."
Going hunting at least once a week, is a full on, feral experience. If they're staying in a place for a while, rumours of a bizarre black beast may start to circulate. Maybe you've even heard of that unusual migrating coeurl pride, lead by an impossibly huge beastkin...sometimes sighted with a cat with a humanoid face?”Be careful what you find lurking in the shadows.”
The cat has survived many a thing they shouldn’t have. Perhaps they’re just lucky, or perhaps it’s a silent and unseen Guardian. The answer lies in their shadow. Since the very beginning, they’ve been under the care of a seemingly benevolent voidsent Yokai. Andie is mostly unaware and dismissive of this presence. As far as they're concerned, the weird shadows and having unusual yokai abilities is completely normal. Don't ask about it. They'll get mad. (Both of them.)
